Spread the mud liberally over the entire body, avoiding open wounds. Leave on for 7 to 15 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. For special relief of tension in aching muscles and joints, heat the packet in a pan of hot water or in the microwave for two minutes at medium heat. Note that the bag must be opened before putting it in the microwave oven.
CAUTION: Test the temperature of the mud before applying it to the skin.
